General

Can I charge my electric car?

Unfortunately, we do not currently have any facilities at Circuit Park Berghem for charging your electric car.

What are your opening hours?

The opening hours for the track and the à la carte café are identical and can be found under the heading “contact” and then “opening hours”.

Can I come as a spectator ?

Certainly, spectators can take seats in our stands, in the A la carte café or on our covered terrace. From there, you will have a view of the screen with the lap times.

Are changing rooms and showers available?

At Circuit Park Berghem, we have a mixed changing room where, normally, only overalls and helmets are tried on. Unfortunately, there is no shower available.

Are dogs allowed?

Certainly, but make sure your dog is kept on a lead, as the sound of the karts can startle it.

Book rental karts and heats

I haven't received my lap times by email. Can I still receive them?

You will receive your lap times if you have registered online for your heat and selected that you wish to receive your lap times online. If you have not received your lap times, please send an email to info@circuitparkberghem.nl, stating which heat you participated in.

May I also use my own helmet or racing suit?

Yes, provided it's a decent helmet. By this, we mean smart helmets with a chin bar.

Why is there so much time between heats?

At Circuit Park Berghem, hire karts never race alongside the competition karts due to the difference in speed. That is why the time between the hire kart heats is reserved for people with their own karts.

On some days we exclusively use rental karts (without racing karts). On those days, there is less time between the rental kart heats.

Is driving still possible when it rains?

Yes, karting is always on! (except in icy conditions)

I want to book for September but that's not possible; how far in advance can I make a reservation?

We will open the booking application for your desired date a maximum of 2 months in advance.

Can I mount a camera on my own helmet during a rental kart heat?

Absolutely, but do make sure your camera is securely fastened before you start driving, so you don’t lose it whilst overtaking other drivers. Oh, and don’t forget to use the hashtag ##circuitparkberghem in your video!

How many karts can be on the track at the same time?

During a casual heat, a maximum of 25 rental karts can be on the track at the same time. All these karts have the same speed. During a 2-hour or 4-hour race, this number can increase.

Can I drive some practice laps before the 2-hour race starts?

Certainly, before most 2-Hour Races, there are still rental kart heats available, the ideal way to scout the circuit, check the weather conditions, or get a head start on your competitors. Quickly check our website to see if there's still availability, as it's first come, first served!

What is the minimum age to hire a kart with you?

There is no minimum age for our rental kart heats, but there is a minimum height. For our Kombikart Eco Karts, this is 1.50 metres.

The minimum age to participate in a 2 or 4 Hour Race is 16 years.

Do I have to wear a Racing Suit, neck protector, rib protector and gloves?

During karting, all these items of clothing are optional. However, you must always wear a helmet and full-coverage clothing!
